1.)
Always remember to pack the printer toner or ink cartridges for
the printers separately in a plastic bag. Never leave the
toners or cartridges in the printers.
2.)
Make sure there is no paper inside the printers when shipping.
The additional weight of the paper will add to the overall cost
of shipping.
3.)
If shipping printers that are not in boxes, make sure that they
are protected with bubblewrap or some other form of protective
material to help prevent damage to the merchandise.
4.)
If wrapping printers, that are not in boxes, make sure that
they shipped in one layer only. Please do not stack
unboxed equipment in multiple layers. Check with your
operations coordinator
if you have questions.
6.)
Every skid with printers
(in boxes or not)
should fit within the
borders of the skid and not overhang. To help prevent
damage to the merchandise being shipped, please make sure each
skid you are sending complies to this guideline.
